Scheerbert Psychological is a private psychological practice with two locations. The Southfield, Michigan office is shared by Drs. Hulbert and Scheer. The Grosse Pointe office is staffed by Dr. Hulbert.
Thomas A. Hulbert, Ph.D.
Dr. Hulbert graduated from the doctoral program in clinical psychology program at Wayne State university in 1986. He worked 13 years in the Henry Ford Health System as a staff psychologist, his last position being Division Head of Child and Adolescent Services, Oakland region, from 1994 to1999. He then moved to a group practice, Psychiatric Services of Grosse, in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, where he worked from 1999 to 2017. In 2006, Dr. Hulbert opened the private practice, Scheerbert Psychological, where he worked Fridays and Saturdays. In 2018 he moved to full-time private practice, splitting time between the Southfield and Grosse Pointe offices of Scheerbert Psychological, and began a part-time consultancy at Eton Academy in Birmingham, Michigan. Mondays, Tuesday afternoons, and Thursdays he works in Grosse Pointe; Wednesdays, Friday afternoons, and Saturdays he is at the Southfield office. Dr. Hulbert works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. His clinical orientation is eclectic, but rests on the foundation of cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Nancy S. Scheer, Ph.D.
Dr. Scheer graduated from the doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at Wayne State University in 1982. She worked for several years as a staff psychologist at the Fox Center in Pontiac, part of St. Joseph Mercy Health System. After taking time off to raise three children, she returned to private practice on a part-time basis. She works with older adolescents and adults. Dr. Scheer's clinical orientation is eclectic, but rests on the foundation of cognitive-behavioral therapy.
